VEXEL SHIPPING POLICY – 2025
At Vexel, we’re committed to delivering your packaging solutions safely and on time. This policy outlines how we handle shipping, delivery timeframes, freight charges, and our Chain of Responsibility obligations.
Minimum Order Value
- Our minimum order value is $200.00 (ex. GST).
- Orders below this amount will not be accepted unless approved in writing.
Freight Charges
- All orders, regardless of value, will incur a freight charge. Charges vary based on the items ordered, delivery location, and required services.
- For regional and rural customers, freight charges are calculated at checkout or quoted at the time of order.
- Definitions of metropolitan and regional areas are determined by Vexel and our freight partners.
Estimated Delivery Times
- Metropolitan areas: 1–3 business days
- Regional and rural areas: 2–10 business days, depending on location
- Western Australia: Some WA orders may be dispatched from our East Coast warehouses. Please allow 5–7 business days for delivery if this occurs.
- Click & Collect: Available in Brisbane only, by prior arrangement.
Shipping to PO Boxes
- We do not ship to PO Boxes or parcel lockers. A physical street address is required for all deliveries.
Despatching Your Order
- Orders for in-stock items received before 2:00 PM AEST (Monday–Friday) will be dispatched the same day.
- Orders placed after 2:00 PM or on weekends/public holidays will be dispatched the next business day.
- Delivery times are based on estimates from our freight partners and may vary.
Tracking Your Order
- Once dispatched, you’ll receive an email confirmation with tracking details.
- Regional deliveries may involve multiple carriers, so tracking may take longer to update.
Delivery Instructions & Access
- Please ensure accurate delivery details and site access instructions are provided.
- If delivery cannot be completed, redelivery fees may apply.
- If no one is available to receive the goods, a calling card will be left with contact details to arrange redelivery.
- You may also request an Authority to Leave arrangement by contacting sales@vexel.com.au in advance.
Delivery Issues
- Risk in the goods transfers to the customer once delivered.
- For missing, delayed, or damaged deliveries, contact us within 2 business days.
- Vexel is not liable for freight delays caused by third parties or external disruptions.
Chain of Responsibility (CoR)
- Vexel is committed to upholding its obligations under Australia’s Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL).
- We work closely with freight partners to ensure all parties in the supply chain meet their safety, loading, and compliance obligations.
- Customers are expected to:
- Provide safe, legal, and accurate delivery instructions;
- Ensure adequate access and unloading conditions at their site;
- Not pressure drivers to meet unsafe deadlines.
- If unsafe conditions are identified during delivery, our carriers may delay or refuse the delivery in line with legal requirements.
